ok this might be a good way of getting rid of ants: Ingredeants: 1. School glue (liquid type) 2.? Sugar 3. bowl Ist. put glue in bowl 2nd. add sugar on glue and in bowl around glue (optional.just put sugar on glue)

what Trevor is forgetting to? inform is, that certain ants are attracted to certain baits, and it will require you to get the right ant-bait trap. SO, if one bait fails, try another bait in the trap.

i put 3 baits in my room where they came in where i was seeing them and then across the other side of the room , used to see a hundred a day and now none and havnt had the problem since? :)

@carsanya thats a joke right? Or your scam pest control company. IPM works only to a certain extent. But Yes he should have went outside and solved the? problem there. Not bait inside. most people dont want to see the ants get worse before it gets better. Slab homes in the winter with active colony is only time to bait inside.

@zeddarain hire a company. Dont be a cheapskate. You may have a bigger problem than just foraging carpenter ants. Key questions. DO u see them in winter? Do you see them with wings? Sometimes it may be a leak behind your shower they have exploited and created a colony. Or a leak in your roof. Go check the trees in your backyard at night. If they are REALLY busy, then? bait the hell out of the bottom of the tree or trees.

@phoebs50 when the ants are running inside, go outside and follow the path to the nest. Flip over rocks, boards, bricks, gardening edging etc.Cleaning does not stop ants. Once you find the nest, put your baits there. Do NOT use and Raid or crap like that. Just keep baiting them. Most problems with baits is "under baiting". Sometimes the nest is too large for one dose, or its a "satellite" nest from a bigger colony. I have found that alot of? times the problem is with several houses in same area.

Guys, rate this up. Lay a red pepper on the floor, wait? thirty minutes (or however long it takes ants to gather), then you spray the ants with anything, (even Lysol!) It works, at least for me.
